which is a sequel 2 "ONE CHILD" which i loved

anyway, i read & this part hit me again
de last time i read i could really feel her sadness & i feel it again now

"That was different, kiddo. I was explaining," I said. "It wasn't just conversation."
"Why do you call me that?" Sheila asked abruptly, looking over at me.
"Call you what?"
"Kiddo. When I was little, you called me lovey. And tiger. And sweetheart.

What was I then that I'm not now?"

that portion i really felt her hurt and all. seriously.
